Pioneer home

Work has begun on the Peterson Pioneer Home Relocation Project.
     On Wednesday, May 30, Greg Neville Construction had a great day to pour the foundation for the house at it's future location.
     The house which is now located on Walnut Street, will be moved to the corner of 2nd and Maple some time this summer. We will keep you posted on when this will happen.

     Work at the new location for the Peterson Pioneer Home in Odebolt began May 29.  Greg Neville Construction is forming and pouring a new foundation on which the home will be anchored.
     Watch for future development as Dale Hoefling transports the home from its Walnut Street location to its new site on Second Street across from the Odebolt Museum.
     The project has been made possible by community donations and funding from a Sac County Endowment Fund Grant. Donations for further maintenance may be deposited with project specification at Iowa State Bank or by sending checks to the Odebolt Betterment Committee, treasurer Deb Reinhart,  Box 34, Odebolt, Iowa 51458.
