Re-Vote for 2nd Street Area

THE NAMING GAME!

We are narrowing down the long list of good nominations for the name of the area that includes the Second Street additions of the Iowa Rural Schools Museum and the Peterson Pioneer Home to the Green Space Park and the Odebolt Museum.  We are again enlisting your help in determining what that name will be.

From the many entries, our committee has selected 10.  You will have a chance to vote on your favorite from these.  The winning name will be determined by November 1st.  Therefore, you will have until October 25th, at 4:00 p.m. to vote for your choice.

A poster with the list of names will be posted at the Odebolt Post Office and at City Hall. 

 WAYS TO VOTE

1) There will be a voting box at the Odebolt City Hall in which to drop your ballot.

2)  Vote via email:  send your choice to Carol Raasch at  raaschcd@netins.net with “NAMING VOTE” as the subject of the email.

Heritage Square or Heritage Park
Legacy Park
History on 2nd
Pioneer Park
Time Square

The Odebolt Legacies
Odebolt Memory Square

 Keep in mind that the chosen name will be used in advertising or information outside of Odebolt.  The name “Odebolt” will likely be added to those titles above, just for clarification.  The vote is ON!
